Care When You Need It
Advanced Immediate Care
Ohio State Advanced Immediate Care provides walk-in care for urgent, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries seven days a week. In addition, less urgent conditions can also be treated. The advanced level of care and diagnostics, supervised by emergency medicine physicians, gives you the expertise of the emergency department (ED) but with shorter wait times and at a lower cost than the ED. Conditions treated include broken bones, sprains, burns, cuts requiring stitches, painful urination, and cold and flu symptoms and infections. Hours and ages treated vary by location. A specialist copay will be collected at time of visit and coinsurance may be applicable if testing is required. Plan provisions apply.

Urgent Care
Ohio State Urgent Care provides walk-in care for patients three months and older for minor to serious, non-life-threatening conditions like cough, sore throat, fever, upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, burns, cuts, broken bones, sprains and strains. Staffed seven days a week by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Orthopedic Immediate Care
Ohio State Orthopedic Immediate Care is open weekdays and provides walk-in urgent care for patients ages 14 and older with minor and serious, non-life-threatening sports and activity-related injuries that like broken bones, tendon ruptures, sprains and strains that have occurred in the last 48 hours. Staffed by emergency medicine and orthopedic physicians and advanced practice providers.

The Little Clinic
Have you heard of The Little Clinic? The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a partner in The Little Clinic sites located inside Kroger stores around central Ohio.
Little Clinics are staffed by board-certified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants and Patient Care Technicians to provide high-quality, convenient health care at affordable prices. They offer treatment for common illnesses and more — especially after hours and on weekends.
OSU Health Plan members are encouraged to make use of The Little Clinic. If you go, be sure to take your medical health insurance card with you.
Same-Day Immediate Care Clinics
Ohio State Same-Day Immediate Care is open weekdays and provides quick access to care for patients 18 months and older with common conditions and illnesses including colds and flu, sinus infections, sore throats, eye and ear infections, minor burns and cuts, insect bites and rashes. Our same-day locations are staffed by skilled nurse practitioners and welcome all OSU Health Plan members. Hours vary by location. If you go, be sure to take your medical health insurance card with you. PCP office visit benefit applies.

Telehealth Immediate Care offers Ohio State patients 14 years and older same-day care via a video appointment. If you have a common health condition that doesn't require an in-person exam or testing and don’t want to travel to the doctor’s office, you can see a health care provider without leaving your house.
